Daena Weeks
Yoga Instructor

Daena has been a dedicated student of yoga for over 10 years, and a teacher since 2016. She has since acquired 500 hours of certified YTT qualification, as well as additional hours of training in Children’s Yoga and Budokon Mixed Movement Arts. With a background in ballet and modern dance, she has long started cultivating an understanding of the mind-body connection, a life-long journey of discovery that she continues to embark on with great curiosity and enthusiasm.

Though her teaching style can include creative sequencing inspired by dance and mixed movement arts, her main focus is a slow & steady approach that allows the practitioner to fully experience & integrate the holistic medicine of mindful movement, alignment, breath awareness & meditation

Her classes bring a dynamic fusion of styles ranging from the fluidity of vinyasa to the introspection of hatha, the surrender of yin, the nurturing of restorative practices, and the tranquillity of meditation.

Each session crafted with care and intention, weaves together asana, breathwork, and mindfulness techniques to create a holistic experience that nourishes the body, mind, and soul.

One of her guiding principles as a teacher is to empower and inspire practitioners to explore movement as a pathway to liberation—both physically and mentally. Through gentle guidance and encouragement, she aims to create a supportive space where individuals can cultivate this self-awareness.
